McLaughlin,
Gelson, D'Apolito & Stauffer, LLC has created a Mediation
Department in order to meet the growing needs of our clients and
the clients of other law firms for mediation services.
The
Firm's Mediation Department consists of attorneys and staff
with years of experience in providing mediation services.
Our attorneys routinely appear before Judges, Arbitrators and Mediators
and serve as mediators for a wide range of disputes. The chairman
of the Mediation Department, John F.
Gelson, has been approved by the Supreme Court of New Jersey
since 1994 as a Court-Appointed Mediator and serves as a Court-Appointed
Mediator throughout the state of New Jersey. Richard
Shaklee has served as a Court Appointed Mediator since 2002
and successfully mediated numerous cases during this period. Roger
J. McLaughlin, specializes in General Equity, Complex Commercial
Litigation, Mt. Laurel Affordable Housing Issues, Complex Construction
and Action in Lieu of Prerogative Writ matters.
Drawing
upon the varied expertise of its attorneys, the Mediation Department
is qualified to handle matters spanning a broad spectrum of disciplines.
For example, our attorneys have extensive experience in drafting,
negotiating and litigating computer software license and service
agreements. Such experience allows the Mediation Department
to offer attorneys and mediators who are particularly suited
to computer and technology related mediations. The Mediation
Department has similar specialized expertise in construction
law, healthcare and employment matters.
Mediation
services offered by McLaughlin, Gelson, D'Apolito &
Stauffer, LLC include the following: appointment as mediators
for a wide range of disputes; representation in mediation proceedings;
negotiation and drafting of mediation provisions for contracts and
settlement agreements;and enforcement of mediation agreements.
